Head of Set Dressing for original run of show June 17th- October 19th 2025
Amazed to say I was on the cover of The New York Times!!! The article delved into Viola’s Room, a new show at The Shed which is Punch Drunk’s second show in New York after Sleep No More! I was brought into this project by Art Domantay as a part of the amazing set dressing team working under the head of set dressing Arabella Wunderlich and desiger Casey Jay Andrews to install this work. I then had the honor of being asked to come on full time as the head of set dressing for the run of the show after the Punch Drunk team headed back to London! This was (and is) such a massive team effort with many talented people so I am very happy I got to be a part of it!
What People Are Saying
“It was the most beautiful, intimate Fabergé egg of a show,” Barrett (founder of Punchdrunk) said, on a video call from Shanghai. He has always longed to revisit it. Now he has.
— New York Times
“I tried NYC's new barefoot immersive theater show 'Viola's Room,' and it was unsettlingly awesome
This immersive theatre experience narrated by Helena Bonham Carter leaves just one sense untouched.”
— Time Out
“ Be warned: you will crawl on your hands and knees, fumble in the dark, and squeeze yourself through a space that may activate claustrophobia. The experience will test your boundaries, but if you can push through (again, literally), you’ll be richly rewarded.”
