Hi, Em here!

As an artist and designer, I am drawn to materiality, the body, and how connection can be crafted. I bring technical skills and collaborative insight into the realms of private spaces and public arts. My experience in a range of hands-on-making, combined with a desire to explore how creativity in community can build a more equitable and vibrant world.

I draw from intergenerational lineages of craft, art, and education to inform and challenge my approaches in conversations with other makers to explore new ways of care and creation. I graduated from Parsons School of Design in NYC with a BFA in Integrated Design where I studied queer spatial design, looking at methods of reclamation, transformation and uniting existing forms of building with improvised ways of making to expand possibilities. As a bilingual individual and French-American, I am fascinated with the way art functions as language and a means to communicate.

My robust work experience in research and project management, particularly in the realm of inclusive design, merges with my background in public arts and community events. The results underscore my commitment to problem solving and adaptation guided by shared values. I am deeply interested in the fields of sustainable design, grassroots organizing, skill sharing, biomaterials and horizontal learning.

Meet Your Maker Radio segment Interview! 1/18/26

I had the honor of being interviewed on Maker Park Radio in mid January by the amazing Annette, the incredible host and program coordinator at Markerspace NYC whom I met during my time at in their community giveback program in spring of 2025.

I got to curate the music- artists from my hometown, nyc based musicians, old and new faves and talk about my practice and had a really great time! Cannot speak highly enough of Makerspace and their team.
